The award recognizes the American Woodmark Corporation for its commitment to the supply chain industry through investments in a new technology process (RFID) to improve their inventory systems and inventory control.

Honored companies were selected based on innovation excellence in the field of supply chain and operations management. American Woodmark Corporation was specifically recognized for implementing radio frequency identification (RFID) system across its operations to improve inventory accuracy, reduce labor and enhance visibility across the manufacturing process.
