bath cabinets in the United States. Founded in 1980, American Woodmark became a public company through a common stock offering in
July 1986.
American Woodmark manufactures cabinets under three major brands:
American Woodmark™,
Shenandoah Cabinetry®, and
Timberlake® Cabinetry,
selling more than 380 cabinet lines in a wide variety of design materials and finishes. Its products are sold through a network of independent dealers and distributors,
and directly to major builders and Lowe's and The Home Depot. The company operates 11 manufacturing facilities located in Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky,
Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, and 10 builder service centers across the country.
