Staying Active in Our Communities

In this unprecedented time, our communities need us now more than ever. The American Woodmark team is working hard to evolve so we can continue to help in a meaningful way.

  • Our locations with 3D printers used them to create the plastic headband piece for face shields.
  • Team members in multiple locations sewed face masks to donate to healthcare organizations.
  • A team packed backpacks full of food for local children who were no longer able to receive school lunches.
  • In California, a group volunteered to create birdhouses from donated American Woodmark recycled goods for veteran nonprofit.
  • In Mexico, a team came together to build and donate 50 bed bases for a temporary hospital site in Tijuana.
  • Our Hamlet, North Carolina plant decorated the front of the plant with colorful hearts as part of the #aworldofhearts campaign to share the love.

As we continue to face this global pandemic, we are proud to share the work of the men and women of American Woodmark who stepped up to help their friends and neighbors.
