Do you have a question? Someone else probably does too! See our frequently asked questions.

Are American Woodmark cabinets certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA)?

Yes! All cabinetry manufactured by American Woodmark is KCMA certified. Cabinets that bear the KCMA seal of certification are recognized as a quality product with the ability to perform after a rigorous battery of tests, simulating years of typical household use.

How do I clean my American Woodmark cabinets?

We recommended that you remove dust frequently with a soft lint-free cloth, dampened with water. To clean spills, use a clean cloth and a mild soap. Do not use detergents, citrus cleaners, ammonia-based cleaners, chlorine-based cleaners, steel wool, soap pads, or abrasive cleaners.

What wood species are my doors made of?

We use a combination of dense structures to create a highly durable product using maple, oak, birch, cherry, poplar, ash, and others.

What are my painted finish cabinet doors made of?

Our paint-finished materials have combined hardwood and engineered material including solid wood, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), high-density fiberboard (HDF), and similar materials to achieve a product with superior stability, consistency, finish coverage, and durability.
