 February 8, 2019

Paul received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and holds a CPA. Most recently, Paul served as the Vice President of Finance/Corporate Controller for TopBuild. Additionally, he has held a number of financial leadership positions with Stanley Black & Decker and General Electric.

His journey to American Woodmark started with contact from an external recruiter and stated that he had not heard of the company previously. However, after his meetings with senior leadership, it convinced him that American Woodmark was the best place to be for his family and himself. The inclusive culture and behavior, including the value placed on employees, were equally as enticing as the company vision and values that were being lived every day.

“You spend a lot of time at work,” Paul said, “Environment and culture is very important.”

Paul stated that he is looking forward to becoming “more involved in the company and culture, helping to enhance and grow with the company.” Additionally, he is eager to add more value back to the company through his role, by assisting various functions in the organization with the overall goal to help grow the company value.

Paul recently relocated to the Winchester, Va., area with his wife, Teresa and three children: 7-year-old Anthony, 5-year-old twins Kaitlyn and Emily and their dog Hunter. When he’s not working, he enjoys family time and being involved his children’s activities. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking and water sports.

A surprising fact about Paul? He is enjoys golfing when he can and hit his first hole-in-one at Majestic at Lake Walden in Hartland, Michigan.
