Record-Breaking Success: Sock it to Homelessness Drive Raises 65,000 Pairs of Socks!

This year’s Sock it to Homelessness drive was a landslide success! Together, we as a company raised 65,000 pairs of socks - this equals more than six pairs donated per team member companywide, crushing our goal of 25,000 pairs.

New socks are among the most needed and requested items in homeless shelters, but sadly, the least donated. Our mountain of knits will help tremendously with the demand in the surrounding areas of our 18 manufacturing and distribution facilities and eight primary service centers. For our first companywide philanthropic effort, we banded together and helped in a genuinely substantial way, knitting ourselves further into our communities.

Thank you to all our REC locations, team leaders, and everyone who participated. Our results are a fantastic example of what we can accomplish working together! We made a difference in the lives of others that will benefit from our teamwork.
