From High School Hire to Vice President: Helen Ramey's Journey at American Woodmark

Helen Ramey, Vice President of the Home Depot Field Sales Team at American Woodmark, has an inspiring career that spans nearly 25 years. Her journey began with a family connection—her grandmother encouraged her to join American Woodmark during high school.
Helen then tackled the challenges of both inside and outside sales, showcasing her ability to build strong value-based relationships with our customers to drive sales. Her exceptional performance led to her promotion to Regional Sales Manager, where she provided leadership and consistently delivered outstanding results with her team.
Inside Sales, 2002
Her efforts and strategic thinking led her to a Senior Style Product Manager position and eventually back to sales as the Director of The Home Depot MTO framed business. The various positions Helen has excelled in over the years gave her a deep understanding of our business as a whole. Today, she leads the Home Depot Field Sales team, managing all stock kitchen, bath, and made-to-order framed products at Home Depot stores. Her cumulative knowledge has been powerful as she continues to guide our sales team in a way that is both impactful and uniquely hers.
