At American Woodmark, we believe quality isn’t something you check at the finish line, it’s something you build in from the very beginning. That belief has driven a years-long transformation in how we approach quality management across our operations.
With 18 facilities, our teams once relied on disconnected, often manual systems to manage audits and monitor quality. But as we expanded our digital capabilities and doubled down on customer experience, it became clear that we needed a more unified and forward-looking approach.

After evaluating multiple platforms, we partnered with EASE to implement a single, sustainable audit system across all facilities. The results have been significant. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, we conducted over 184,000 audits and opened more than 13,000 findings, each one tracked, addressed, and visible at every level of the business.
EASE also enabled us to standardize audit content across our Made to Stock and Made to Order business units, improving governance and alignment across teams. Real-time alerts, mobile accessibility, and integration with Microsoft Power BI have empowered supervisors, analysts, and executives alike to make faster, more informed decisions.

Even more impactful is the cultural shift we’re seeing across the company. Quality is no longer viewed as a standalone department, it’s a shared discipline that touches every team member and every stage of the process.
As we look to the future, we’re exploring even more ways to extend this momentum, from deeper integration with training systems to AI-powered audit insights. The path forward is clear: when quality leads, everything else follows.
