
Ali will lead critical initiatives to strengthen American Woodmark’s cybersecurity strategy, enhance our security posture, and ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards. His cybersecurity and IT leadership expertise will be instrumental in advancing our cybersecurity framework, protecting our organization from evolving threats, and ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.
Prior to joining American Woodmark, Ali served as the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Hunter Douglas, a leading manufacturer of blinds and shades. There, he was responsible for designing and implementing a new cybersecurity program, preparing the company for its IPO, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Throughout his career, Ali has held leadership roles at prominent organizations such as NAPA, Popeyes, HP, and Aflac, building a track record of success in cybersecurity and IT management.
Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and an MBA from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia.
